Projects at Institute of the Rockies

Past projects include research on Malaysian Sun Bears, Mountain Lions in Idaho, conservation easements in Montana's Swan Valley and energy efficient building technologies.

Institute of the Rockies is currently involved with two projects:

Proyecto Conservación del Área Talamanca (ProCAT) is a project to improve the state of biodiversity knowledge for the Caribbean Talamanca Region of Costa Rica, focusing on jaguars and their habitat.

The Falls Creek Grizzly - Stories and Histories Along Montana's Rocky Mountain Front, a forthcoming book on the culture and history of grizzly bears and people as seen through stories and storytelling traditions.
